EU: SMP - Stocks, market prices and intervention prices
This page provides, in the relevant period, the connection among:
  • the average wholesale price of SMP in Germany (ADPI-Extra);
  • the stocks of SMP and
  • the EU intervention price (intervention is a system in which products are bought by the EU/Government when prices are low and butter supplies high. This excess is put under EU Public storehouses).
In fact the graph evidences the tight connection (inversely proportional) between market price of SMP and volume stocks and the decline of intervention.
