Farmgate milk and whole pasteurised spot foreign milk
This page provides with prices (minimum and maximum) of Whole pasteurised spot foreign milk (bulk milk in tank, CIF North of Italy) recorded on a weekly basis by the Commission (composed of the Representatives of Milk Producers and Dairy Processors) at the Milano Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce.

The whole pasteurised foreign milk is intended to be bulk milk in tank from France and Germany, traded without any annual or long-term contract. Its market is influenced by the seasonality of production and consumption.

The availability of whole pasteurised foreign milk is representative of the general product demand trend (affected also by a possible increase in UHT milk/fresh cheeses consumption or by a lack of raw milk offer during the autumn season).

The two graphs here below represent the comparison between minimum and maximum price of whole pasteruised spot milk from France and Germany and farm gate milk price in Lombardy, inclusive of milk collection costs.
