The information displayed focuses on dairy cattle. However, in the exchange of goods different countries sometimes adopt different customs codes, and most of the existing codes do not specify if they are related to dairy or beef animals, or whether to heifers or cows.
When available, the data displayed refer to dairy cattle; otherwise, the data displayed refer to breeding heifers.
If neither of these specifications is available, the data displayed refer to the total number of live cattle.
